Great acting but poor and minimal technical advice. The shoreline recedes prior to a tsunami event and waves don't lap the shore. They can't tell if it's a meteor impact? No matter where one hits the kinetic power and heat from entering the atmosphere would be explosive. 20 minutes in and I'm out.

This should be a Sci Fi/Thriller Movie. This would be a good prediction of wellingtons future for the next hundred years.

"One minute before the wave hits." Everybody needs to spend that minute running off of the boat. Then the boat ends up pancaking everyone that got off. .
